An acting teacher once tole me that the job of the actor (and I expand this to all story tellers) is to heal the human soul.

Sometimes fiction can heal.

Sometimes, it only serves to remind us of our hurts.

"...so, for once in my life, let me get what I want. Lord know it would be the first time."
